ODA OPPORTUNITIES DELIVER DREAMS
Children here don’t lack intelligence,
Subsistence farming is still the way of life for many families in Cambodia. This forces a large number of children to engage in farm work rather than attend government school.
ODA proudly helps create opportunities for our children by providing free English and computer education in the outlying villages of Siem Reap. We know fluent English and computer skills are key to improving employment options in the tourism and government sector.
Our eight schools offer kindergarten, night English and computer classes to over 1450 children who lack access to education. We also support our teachers to further their education through university.
The education of children brings change to the whole community.
Change takes time, commitment, and effort.
ODA and these wonderful kids are not short on any of these strengths.
Free education in English and computer skills results in future employment and the lifeline of regular income for their families.
Every dollar you donate is matched by the effort and determination of these children as they balance the life of sharing working the family rice plot, around the luxury of trying to gain an education.
Dependable monthly donations give us the stability and security to continue helping these keen but disadvantaged children, to gain English skills.
Village kids dream of improved futures. ODA’s aim is to assist these subsistence farming youngsters to the ‘luxury’ of an education that leads to future employment.
Donations are critical to turn lives around, funding English and introduction to computer skills which lead to future permanent salaried, government or tourism related jobs.
